We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Lead / Senior Consultant to join a high-performing transformation team delivering complex HR technology programs for large, enterprise clients.
This is a Melbourne-based hybrid role, offering the opportunity to work on major transformation initiatives within a collaborative, outcomes-driven consulting environment.
The Role
As the Employee Central Lead, you will play a key role in the design, delivery and optimisation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solutions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across HR, Payroll and IT, leading functional design workshops, shaping solution architecture, and ensuring successful end-to-end delivery.
You will be responsible for driving best-practice implementation aligned to global standards, ensuring governance, quality, and client value at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- Facilitate discovery and design workshops with senior business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into scalable, best-practice system solutions
- Provide configuration leadership across core EC modules (foundations, position management, workflows, business rules, etc.)
- Oversee integrations with Payroll, Time, and other downstream systems
- Manage data migration strategy and execution
- Support testing strategy (SIT, UAT) and cutover planning
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants
- Engage confidently with executive-level stakeholders and steer committees
- Ensure delivery excellence across scope, timelines and quality standards
- 7+ years’ experience in SAP SuccessFactors, with deep expertise in Employee Central
- Proven experience leading at least 2–3 full lifecycle EC implementations
- Strong understanding of HR operating models and global HR processes
- Experience working within consulting or large enterprise transformation environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced delivery environment
- SAP SuccessFactors certification in Employee Central highly regarded
- Australian working rights required
