What you'll be doing
Working directly with client stakeholders and the broader project team, you'll take ownership of ETL development end-to-end, from package design through to performance tuning and production deployment. You'll troubleshoot integration issues, build robust error handling and logging, and write complex SQL to support transformation logic across a range of data sources including flat files, XML, Excel, and relational databases.
What we're looking for
- Proven hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL package design, development, and deployment
- Strong SQL Server skills including SQL Server 2025 features and architecture (vector search, Fabric integration, performance enhancements)
- Experience with complex queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Experience working with varied source data formats (flat files, XML, Excel, relational databases)
- Solid understanding of performance tuning and optimisation for both SSIS packages and SQL queries
- Confident with error handling, logging, and debugging within SSIS
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Hybrid | Brisbane-based
- 6 month contract engagement
- Immediate start preferred
