Software Engineer | Enterprise Video & Building Solutions
Location: Sydney | Hybrid | 6 Month contract (potential for it to extend)
A global technology leader in building automation and digital video management is seeking a Software Engineer to develop enterprise-grade solutions used by organisations worldwide. You’ll work on cutting-edge video management systems, leveraging the modern .NET stack to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
This is a hands-on engineering role within an Agile environment, ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and building robust software that impacts industries globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and test enhancements across the full software development lifecycle
- Build scalable, maintainable, and performant solutions using .NET technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams (UX, QA, Product, Marketing)
- Provide responsive support to resolve software issues and customer needs
- Ensure process compliance and contribute to release testing
What You’ll Need:
- Strong experience with the modern .NET web stack (C#, ASP.NET, SQL/T-SQL)
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and MVVM patterns
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and test-driven development
- Experience delivering customer-facing, production-ready applications
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript, KnockoutJS, or other large-scale front-end frameworks
- Knowledge of web media processing (WebAssembly, WebCodecs, MSE, WebAudio)
- Strong debugging and profiling experience
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices
