We are seeking an experienced Snr  Commissioning Technician to join a leading Electronic Security Integrator delivering high-profile commercial, government and critical infrastructure projects across Sydney.

Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Installation Teams, you will be responsible for the commissioning, programming, testing and handover of integrated electronic security systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission, configure and test electronic security systems across new and existing installations.
  • Program and configure Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Detection and Intercom systems.
  • Perform system integration, functional testing, fault finding and optimisation.
  • Ensure all systems are commissioned in accordance with client specifications, project documentation and Australian Standards.
  • Provide technical support to installation teams throughout project delivery.
  • Prepare commissioning reports, as-built documentation and client handover documentation.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Consultants and End Users to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Assist with system upgrades, software updates and technical troubleshooting.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience commissioning Electronic Security systems.
  • Demonstrated experience programming and commissioning integrated security systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Detection and Integrated Security platforms.
  • Experience with IP networking fundamentals, system integration and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Current Australian Driver Licence.
  • Current Security Licence (Class 2C or equivalent).
  • White Card.
  • Current ACMA Cabling Registration (Open Registration preferred).
