We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (contract) to support the delivery of a major program within a large university environment.
This role is critical to ensuring funded initiatives are well planned, governed, and delivered to agreed outcomes. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of ITS foundation projects across cloud, compute, infrastructure, and applications, working closely with Research and Innovation stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure, cloud, and application projects
- Manage project scope, schedules, resourcing, budgets, and risks
- Drive strong financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Engage and manage vendors and delivery partners
- Translate researcher and stakeholder requirements into clearly defined, deliverable initiatives
- Support research needs, including compute platforms, cloud services, application hosting, and infrastructure migration
- Ensure delivery discipline, transparency, and effective governance throughout the project lifecycle
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex infrastructure and cloud programs
- Strong fundamentals in project management, including financial control and reporting
- Hands-on experience working across cloud, compute, infrastructure, and application environments
- Confident managing vendors, dependencies, and multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working in complex, research-focused or enterprise environments
