The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of complex, high-value projects across the organisation, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive delivery excellence across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex projects and programs.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Engage and manage senior stakeholders, sponsors, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure governance, reporting, and controls are maintained in line with organisational standards.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and team capability.
- Mentor and support junior project managers and delivery team members.
- Ensure benefits realisation and successful project handover to operations.
- Proven experience delivering complex projects in a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager role.
- Strong background in project governance, financial management, and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including at the executive level.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are desirable.
