Overview
We're supporting a major government enterprise transformation program currently in its early mobilisation phase.
This is a $400M+ multi-year program(5-year roadmap) that has recently commenced delivery and is standing up its central Program Management Office.
We're seeking a Senior PMO Manager to play a key role in establishing governance, delivery controls and operational frameworks that will underpin the program for its full lifecycle.
The role sits within the Enterprise PMO (EPMO) and reports into the Head of PMO / Program Director.
Role Focus
This is a senior mobilisation and governance position — focused on standing up program structure rather than managing large teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and embedding program governance frameworks
- Supporting PMO mobilisation across multiple delivery streams
- Leading onboarding of delivery teams, vendors and partners
- Building executive reporting packs and steering artefacts
- Managing RAID, financial tracking and milestone reporting
- Driving integrated planning and cross-stream coordination
- Implementing delivery assurance and control frameworks
- Supporting Steering Committees and executive forums
- Uplifting PMO tooling, templates and operating cadence
- $400M+ enterprise transformation program
- Multi-year (5-year) delivery horizon
- Early stand-up phase (mobilisation focus)
- Multi-vendor + SI delivery model
- Blend of business and technology workstreams
- Central PMO team of ~5 resources (senior + junior mix)
We're targeting senior PMO leaders with experience operating in complex government or regulated environments.
