Senior OutSystems Developer
About our client
We are helping a Financial Services business embark on a very exciting journey with Outsystems. Our client is a well established business who are transforming their Technical Operations division.
We are looking for a Senior Developer with a background in Outsystems Development who would also be interested to occasionally tap into .Net Projects.
About the role
- Work closely with back-end developers to ensure high quality code is maintained.
- Provide technical guidance and lead best practice in the development of web applications, staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Perform technical analysis, write functional requirements and testing for all feature requests and enhancements.
- Independently evaluate your work according to business requirements and timings.
- Work collaboratively within your delivery squad, with other delivery teams and the wider business to implement new features and enhancements that are aligned to business/customer objectives.
- Solid level of OutSystems development experience (2+ years experience), including:
o Solution design / architecture for business-critical applications
o Development of web and mobile applications
o Inbound and outbound API integrations
o Security implementations for both public and private applications
o Managing DevOps processes (releases, builds, source control);
- Hands on experience across various technologies (ideally 7+ years): using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, CSS and JQuery
- Demonstrated background with responsive web development; cross-browser and cross-device agnostic development.
- Strong experience with Agile development techniques (e.g. test-driven development, unit-testing, continuous integration, test and deployment automation).
- Strong experience in Cloud architecture.
- An understanding of the Financial industry would be desirable.
We're open to candidates who are looking for a contract role or permanent. Ideally you're available within a few weeks.
