We’re seeking an experienced Senior Network Installation Engineer (S3 level)
to join our Melbourne team. You’ll be responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of network and communications infrastructure
across customer sites in Australia.
This is a hybrid role
— mostly remote, with some onsite and interstate travel required for installations and project support.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, servers, and workstations).
- Conduct site surveys, infrastructure deployments, and system upgrades.
- Perform software and patch installations (Windows, Linux, 3rd-party systems).
- Provide on-site and remote technical support and training.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with engineering and project teams.
- Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, IP networking, and LAN/WAN protocols.
- Hands-on with firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, SFTP, SMTP, and tools like Wireshark.
- Proficient in Windows and Linux environments; Cisco experience highly regarded.
- Familiarity with PBXs, SBCs, and patch management tools (e.g., WSUS, BigFix).
- 5+ years’ experience in network installation and technical support.
- Melbourne-based with flexibility for interstate travel as needed.
- Full Australian working rights(PR or Citizenship).
