Senior Front End Engineer

SENIOR React Engineer 
React (plus some Java), AWS - Must bring team leadership experience 

6-month daily rate contract initially with view to extend. 

2 days in Melbourne CBD / 3 days from home.

They are doing some cool things with a large technology platform and need a Senior Front End (React) Engineer to join them!

Core Tech Stack is React, Java, AWS, Microservices, GraphQL. 
For this role, you'll be working on mostly ReactJS, but you'll also spend a little bit of your time working on the latest Java technologies.

What to expect daily ... 
• Take detailed requirements, determine the right front-end strategy and craft exceptional user experiences across all devices
• Responsible for the quality and robustness of technical deliverables
• Be a hands-on technology expert, shaping the concept and seeing it through to detailed design and implementation
• Participate in estimation, planning, design and ideas stages
• Constructing and developing on a technology stack that meets the needs of rapid prototyping, whilst also serving as the foundation for future development.
• Work in partnership with the tech lead to troubleshoot problem areas and manage changes in scope and devise contingency plans.

Accountabilities:
• Develop high-quality code
• Deploy code through technology stack
• Partake in solution design sessions
• Champion agile, lean, DevOps and automation process
• Mentor junior engineers 

Experience Required to be successful: 
• Strong experience in  ReactJS
• Experience with Java (Bonus) 
• AWS experience + microservices architecture, CI/CD 
• Prior team leadership experience 
• JavaScript expert - TypeScript, NodeJS, GraphQL 

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Front End React Developer who is looking for a great culture and a tech environment that is always pushing limits!

Hybrid Model: 2x days in office (CBD) and 3x days from home per week 
Daily Rate: Up to $1000 per day inc Super (for the right candidate)
Start date:  Flexible, but ideally in the next 3-4 weeks.
