This role is ideal for a driven project leader who thrives in complex construction environments and can successfully deliver high-value security projects from design through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end delivery of electronic security projects valued at $5M+
- Managing security scopes on large construction sites, including data centres and other critical infrastructure
- Working closely with Tier 1 builders, consultants, and client stakeholders
- Managing project programs, budgets, variations, and risk
- Coordinating subcontractors and internal delivery teams
- Ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and WHS requirements
- Leading design coordination, shop drawings, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and final handover
- Providing clear and accurate reporting on cost, progress, and quality
Systems & Technologies
Experience delivering projects involving:
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV and Video Management Systems
- Intruder Detection Systems
- Intercoms and Perimeter Security
- Integrated Security Platforms
About You
- Current NSW Security Licence
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the electronic security industry
- Demonstrated delivery of large-scale construction projects ($5M+)
- Strong experience working alongside Tier 1 builders
- Data centre or critical infrastructure experience preferred
- NV1 security clearance, or the ability to obtain NV1 clearance
- Strong commercial, contractual, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead teams in high-pressure construction environments
- Excellent planning, documentation, and communication skills
