You'll join a global team whose job is simple to describe and hard to do well: keep low-latency trading systems safe, stable and fast. It's a hands-on role with genuine ownership of production, close to the trading floor and the engineers who build the platform.
The role
- Deploy, maintain and monitor proprietary trading applications, keeping them within tight performance thresholds
- Support live trading, troubleshooting complex issues and resolving incidents quickly
- Spot recurring themes in incidents and build the automation that stops them coming back
- Coordinate go-lives for new products, systems and exchanges, including readiness for corporate actions and special announcements
- Set configuration and deployment standards, and manage colocation capacity and redundancy as the firm grows
- L2/L3 experience managing complex distributed systems on Linux, with strong networking fundamentals
- Python (or similar) scripting, plus hands-on CI/CD, build, deployment and version control tooling
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- A track record of driving system improvements and delivering change across global teams
- Calm, logical troubleshooting under pressure, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly
