Senior Network Engineer Opportunity – Melbourne Based
Our well-known government client in the inner-city suburbs of Melbourne is looking for a Senior Network Engineer
to join their fast-paced and growing IT team.
3-month contract
– strong potential for extension or a permanent opportunity
$800/day (inc super)
Mostly WFH
– must be able to travel to site as needed
Must have PR or Australian Citizenship
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years in a network engineering role
- Strong experience in LAN, WAN, Switching, Routing & Firewalls
- Proficiency with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, NetScaler, SD-WAN, Wireless AP (Aruba)
- Knowledge of network security, access control models, and cloud platforms (Azure & AWS)
- Experience with on-prem data centres and incident response
- Minimum CCNP certification
- Excellent communication and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
