A great opportunity to join a large, complex organisation as a Senior Network Engineer, providing leadership and deep technical expertise across enterprise network and telephony infrastructure.
About the Role You’ll support and enhance LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud and data centre environments while contributing to a multi-year network roadmap. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, design secure network solutions, and guide improvements to automation and performance. Python scripting is essential, as you’ll build automation, develop configurations and streamline processes.
About You
- Strong background in enterprise networking (LAN/WAN/Wireless/Cloud/Security)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba or Arista
- Advanced routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, VPNs, STP)
- Mandatory Python scripting for network automation
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Bash, PowerShell) and IaC
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Vendor certifications (CCNP/CCIE) highly regarded
- Comfortable working in large, complex environments
