EL1 Network Architect - Federal Government | 12-Month Contract | Brisbane (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced EL1 Network Architect
to join a federal government agency on a 12-month contract. This is a critical role providing strategic leadership, oversight, and approval of complex network design
within an enterprise environment.
About the Role
As the Network Architect, you will provide high-level architectural leadership across enterprise networking, ensuring the design, transformation, and implementation of large-scale network infrastructure is delivered effectively. You will guide technical teams, approve network designs, and provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, oversight, and approval of enterprise network design.
- Lead the design, transformation, and implementation of large-scale network infrastructure.
- Offer strategic guidance on architecture and design decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure network outcomes align with enterprise requirements.
- 10+ years' experience in enterprise networking, including 7+ years in a senior architect role.
- Proven record of designing, transforming, and implementing large-scale enterprise or service provider network infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience delivering network solutions within large, complex organisations.
- Australian Citizenship(mandatory).
- Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
- 12-month contract with potential for extension.
- Based in Brisbane (hybrid work arrangement available).
