A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced National Business Development Manager to join a well-established Australian logistics and supply chain business with a significant national footprint.

With operations across major capital cities, extensive warehousing capabilities, specialised transport solutions and a strong reputation for service delivery, this organisation is entering an exciting phase of commercial growth and is looking for a driven BDM to help lead the next chapter.

This role is focused on identifying, securing and developing new business opportunities across transport, warehousing and integrated 3PL solutions.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and executing a national business development strategy
  • Identifying new opportunities across transport, warehousing and supply chain solutions
  • Building relationships with key decision-makers across multiple industries
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to implementation
  • Working closely with operations teams to ensure successful customer onboarding
  • Growing revenue through both new client acquisition and strategic account development
  • Representing the business at industry events and networking opportunities
What We're Looking For
  • Proven success in a Business Development Manager or Senior Sales role within:
    • Transport
    • Logistics
    • Warehousing
    • 3PL
    • Supply Chain Solutions
  • Strong network and ability to open doors at decision-maker level
  • Demonstrated track record of winning new business and achieving revenue targets
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously while contributing to a national growth strategy
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
