We're seeking an experienced Consulting Manager/Director - Data & AI to lead high-impact consulting engagements and grow our Data & AI consulting capability.
This is a senior, client-facing role where you'll combine people leadership, delivery excellence, and commercial acumen to help clients solve complex data, analytics, and AI challenges.
You'll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable data platforms, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions that drive real business value.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Data, Analytics, and AI consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Build and maintain trusted executive-level client relationships, understanding data and AI challenges and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to design and deliver Data, Analytics, and AI solutions including data platforms, BI, ML, and AI use cases.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Data & AI engagements and expand existing client accounts.
- Lead proposal development, client presentations, and contract negotiations for Data & AI initiatives.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the Data & AI consulting practice.
- Support oversight of financial performance, ensuring engagements are delivered within budget and meet profitability targets.
- Partner with other service lines to deliver a cohesive, end-to-end client experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years' experience in industry or consulting, including 3+ years in a consulting leadership role focused on Data, Analytics, or AI.
- Proven track record delivering Data & AI consulting engagements, from strategy through to implementation.
- Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics, AI/ML concepts, and modern data architectures.
- Experience with consulting methodologies, program delivery, and stakeholder management.
- Commercial mindset with experience in business development, account growth, and client management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- A continuous learning mindset, staying current with emerging data, analytics, and AI trends.
- Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or Master's in Data, Analytics, or AI.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, SAFe, cloud or data platform certifications).
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) and AI frameworks.
- Lead and grow a high-performing Data & AI consulting practice.
