Manager – Workplace Technology

We're looking for a Manager – Workplace Technology to lead the delivery of end-user technology services across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring a seamless technology experience for employees at every level of the business.

This is a highly visible role, acting as the face of technology across the organisation. You'll engage with stakeholders ranging from warehouse and frontline teams through to senior executives and the CEO, building trusted relationships while driving service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, delivery and continuous improvement of workplace technology services, including:
  • End User Computing (EUC) and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Mobility and device management
  • Meeting room technology, printers and workplace peripherals
  • In-field support services across major Australia and New Zealand sites (no travel required)
  • Management of an outsourced Service Desk partner with Australian-based delivery
  • Delivery of a major FY27 laptop refresh program involving approximately 500 devices
Leadership
  • Lead a team of 14 technology professionals, including 5 direct reports
  • Foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture
  • Develop team capability and drive operational excellence
Financial Management
  • Manage and oversee the Workplace Technology cost centre budget
  • Drive financial accountability, vendor performance and value-for-money outcomes
  • Support planning, forecasting and investment decisions
About You

You bring a unique blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen and leadership capability. You'll have experience leading workplace technology functions and be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.

You'll demonstrate:
  • Strong leadership experience managing technical teams
  • Deep knowledge of EUC, Microsoft 365 and workplace technology services
  • Experience managing outsourced service providers
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong financial and budget management capability
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional employee experiences
Key Points: 
  • 3 office days (Melbourne CBD) / the rest from home (flex) 
  • $200-$210k base plus Super (no bonus in this role)
  • Great career development - potential to move to 2IC in the future.
