We are partnering with a leading education client seeking a Lead Reporting Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement and delivery experience to support a large-scale enterprise data and reporting transformation program.
About the Role:
In this role you will lead business analysis activities across a complex stakeholder environment to understand reporting needs, analyse current data usage, and translate requirements into meaningful reporting and data solutions. You will play a key role in defining metrics, improving data quality, and supporting the delivery of modern reporting capabilities within a transforming organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse current reporting usage to identify key business needs and opportunities.
- Support the transition from legacy reporting to modern data solutions.
- Lead current and future state analysis across the data and reporting lifecycle.
- Develop process artefacts and identify reporting use cases.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Produce user stories, use cases, process maps, and data definitions.
- Analyse data across enterprise systems and document relationships and structures.
- Translate requirements into epics and user stories.
- Define acceptance criteria and support delivery readiness.
- Engage with a broad range of stakeholders across business and technical teams.
- Manage priorities, trade-offs, and risks.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in data-focused business analysis roles.
- Proven ability to work across large, complex transformation programs.
- Experience engaging diverse stakeholder groups and facilitating workshops.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and data modelling concepts.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Experience with collaboration and documentation tools.
