About the Role
A leading national enterprise is seeking a technically skilled and team-oriented IAM Team Leader to join their dynamic Cyber Security division. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on both BAU operations and strategic IAM project delivery.
As the IAM Team Leader, you’ll oversee a geographically distributed team (local and offshore) and play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving the identity security posture across the organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the ongoing integration of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud applications
- Oversee the integration of SailPoint with SAP and support major PAM uplift initiatives
- Manage daily IAM operations including user access reviews, incidents, access approvals, and lifecycle events (JML)
- Work cross-functionally with IT, Security Engineering, and Business stakeholders to ensure IAM solutions meet governance, compliance, and operational requirements
- Act as a point of escalation for identity-related issues, incidents, and system access concerns
- Develop and refine IAM processes, standards, and controls in alignment with security frameworks (NIST, COBIT, PCI)
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team culture
- IAM Tools: SailPoint IdentityNow (Cloud), Entra ID / Azure AD
- Security Stack: PAM (CyberArk or equivalent), MFA, SSO, RBAC
- Integrations: SAP, REST APIs
- Other: Microsoft 365, AIP, Defender, ServiceNow
- 5+ years' experience in IT, with a focus on Identity & Access Management or Security
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and Azure AD (Entra ID)
- Familiarity with SAP access management, user access reviews, and privileged access controls
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Previous mentoring or informal leadership experience, with a strong desire to step into a formal team leadership role
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
