We are looking for an experienced IAM professional to join our client in a contract capacity, supporting and delivering identity and access management services across the organisation.
You will configure security controls, lead resolution of cyber threats, and collaborate with IT and security teams to drive a secure enterprise environment. With a strong background in technologies such as Azure AD, Active Directory, and NetIQ, you will bring expertise in Zero Trust, SSO, SAML, and identity lifecycle management to help shape and strengthen our IAM function globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and advise the IAM team on the effective operation of the IAM function globally.
- Deliver IAM services for staff, students, and external entities across the organisation.
- Partner with leadership, product owners, and development teams to turn strategy into actionable projects.
- Provide expert recommendations on infrastructure design and implementation.
- Lead root cause analysis on business-impacting problems and drive permanent corrective actions.
- Provide subject matter expertise on incidents and issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to broader cybersecurity and IT initiatives.
- 5+ years' experience across identity, credential, and access management for human and machine users, including siloed, centralised, and federated models.
- Hands-on experience with IAM technologies and directory services including NetIQ, MS Active Directory, and Azure AD.
- Strong Access Management background using Microsoft Azure and NetIQ Access Manager.
- Experience automating provisioning to SaaS, Azure, and on-premise applications, including automated access reviews and birth-right provisioning.
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Java, Perl, VB) and Identity Management APIs; solid understanding of XML.
- Proven knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, PKI, SSO, LDAP, and Digital Certificates across on-premise and cloud environments.
