About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Coordinator to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and maintain effective safety programs that protect our team, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and foster a strong culture of safety across the site. This is an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for extension or permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver safety training programs specific to warehouse operations, including manual handling, equipment use, and emergency procedures.
  • Create and distribute HSE materials and communications that promote safe work practices.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Recommend corrective actions and preventive measures to mitigate safety risks.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for audits, incidents, and training.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and safety committees to drive engagement in HSE initiatives.
  • Support incident investigations and assist in developing strategies to prevent recurrence.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in safety, compliance, or a related role—preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement practical, effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or safety management software.
  • A collaborative, hands-on approach to engaging employees at all levels
