The Opportunity
In this role, you will monitor and support highly automated trading systems operating across global markets. You will play a key part in identifying and resolving issues in real time, working closely with traders, engineers, and risk teams to maintain optimal system performance and minimise disruption.
You will operate in an environment where speed, accuracy, and sound judgment are critical.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring live trading environments and proactively identifying issues
- Investigating incidents across trading, risk, and production systems
- Collaborating with engineers, traders, and stakeholders to resolve issues quickly
- Supporting continuous improvement of monitoring tools, processes, and controls
- Documenting incidents and contributing to preventative solutions
- Maintaining system stability across multiple markets and asset classes
- Exposure to highly sophisticated automated trading technology
