About the Role:
We’re looking for an Insurance Functional Tester to join a leading squad, supporting digital claims platforms.
You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Developers, BAs, and Delivery Leads to ensure high-quality delivery of features and enhancements across our customer-facing digital claims ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, scenarios, and scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, and API testing, logging and tracking defects through to closure.
- Support production issue analysis and manage fixes through release cycles.
- Build and maintain automation scripts using TestCafe + JavaScript.
- Maintain and enhance the regression automation suite.
- Provide regular testing updates and accurate estimations to stakeholders.
- Participate in UAT, performance testing, and penetration testing activities.
- Work with developers and BAs to identify, prioritise, and validate test scenarios.
- Conduct project demos and maintain up-to-date test documentation.
- Ensure test environments are aligned with release requirements.
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate integrations.
- 1–5 years’ experience as a Functional Tester within digital teams.
- Strong insurance domain experience; Guidewire (Policy, Claims, Billing) highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with:
- TestCafe + JavaScript automation
- REST API testing (Postman or similar)
- Agile delivery environments
- Experience with AI tools such as Claude and Copilot for testing efficiency.
- Strong defect management and STLC knowledge.
- Understanding of performance and security testing practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
- Experience with Playwright is a bonus.
- Ability to leverage AI-driven testing tools for predictive analysis.
