An industry-leading technology consultancy is seeking a GCP Practice Lead to build and scale their Google Cloud capability, driving cloud transformation across high-profile enterprise clients in financial services and insurance.

You’ll join a high-performing, fast-moving team that’s passionate about cloud innovation, data, and AI. The role suits someone with a strong development or architecture background who’s grown into senior architecture or leadership, and is now ready to shape a practice from the ground up.

What you’ll be doing
• Defining and executing the growth strategy for a new GCP practice
• Building and mentoring a specialist team of cloud and data engineers
• Leading client engagements across major enterprise environments
• Working closely with Google Cloud alliance partners and internal leadership
• Driving delivery excellence across infrastructure, data, and AI/ML solutions

What we’re looking for
• Strong background as a Senior Cloud Architect or Senior Engineer
• Deep experience in GCP (Compute, Kubernetes, Dataflow, BigQuery, Vertex AI)
• Hands-on understanding of DevOps, Terraform, and CI/CD
• Exposure to financial services or insurance environments ideal
• High energy, people-focused leader who can build and grow capability
• GCP Professional certifications
