We’re partnering with a well-established Australian organisation operating in a highly regulated industry, supporting customers across regional and metropolitan Australia. The business has a strong digital roadmap and is investing in modern engineering practices to enhance its core platforms and customer experiences.
You’ll be joining a small, young, and highly collaborative engineering team that values autonomy, trust, and practical problem solving. This is an environment where engineers are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas, and work closely with product and stakeholders to deliver real outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining full stack applications using modern .NET technologies
- Developing frontend applications, ideally using Blazor WebAssembly
- Working across backend services, APIs, and data layers
- Collaborating closely with engineers, product, and QA in a small agile team
- Contributing to technical decisions, code quality, and continuous improvement
- Supporting the ongoing evolution of core business platforms
What You’ll Bring Essential
- Strong experience with .NET, ideally .NET 8
- Solid experience with C#
- Experience building modern web applications using Blazor WebAssembly
- Very strong React or Angular experience is acceptable if Blazor exposure is limited
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
- Proven full stack capability
Highly Desirable
- Exposure to .NET 10
- Experience with UI component libraries such as Telerik and/or Syncfusion
- Background in insurance or broader financial services
- Experience working in small, product-led teams
- Work within close-knit team where your contribution matters
- Genuine autonomy and trust, no heavy layers of process
- Hybrid working model with a consistent team presence onsite
- Opportunity to work on meaningful, long-lived platforms
- Strong chance of extension beyond the initial contract
