Join the digital delivery team of a Government agency running large-scale, citizen-facing digital identity services. This is a contract opportunity based in Brisbane CBD where you'll be the developer shaping the React-based self-service experience millions of Queenslanders use. You'll work inside a small, focused delivery team with direct line of sight to the Director of Digital Delivery.
The role
- Develop and maintain React Single-Page Applications (SPAs) used for customer onboarding and self-service
- Own the full software lifecycle: design, build, unit test, quality review, performance test and production support
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile environment
- Produce clear specifications and technical documentation to standard
- Manage your own technical risks, issues and priorities to meet deadlines
- Strong hands-on React / SPA development experience across the full lifecycle
- Comfort working independently with minimal day-to-day technical guidance, while still collaborating well in a team
- A track record of solid technical documentation and specification writing
- Experience managing competing priorities and technical risk to deadline
