About the Role
You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and minor works of electronic security systems, working with industry-leading technologies and clients. This role suits a hands-on technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electronic security systems
- Delivery of minor works, system upgrades, and fault-finding
- Working with CCTV and Access Control systems
- Interpreting drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Completing service documentation and reports accurately
- Providing professional service to commercial, government, and data centre clients
- Working independently and collaboratively to meet project timelines
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience as an Electronic Security Technician
- Strong knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems
- Experience with installations, maintenance, and fault diagnosis
- Ability to work autonomously and manage site-based tasks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Current driver’s licence
- Qld Security Licence
- Experience with Gallagher, Genetec, and Integrity systems
- Commissioning experience on complex security systems
- Experience working in commercial and government environments
- Data centre security experience, including high-availability or critical infrastructure sites
- Understanding of compliance, documentation, and site access requirements
