The Mandate:
You will own the technical leadership of complex payroll remediation engagements across:
- Award & EBA interpretation reviews
- Superannuation guarantee remediation
- Leave accrual recalculations
- Employee progression adjustments
- Enforceable undertakings
- Large-scale FBT modelling
What Success Looks Like:
- You’ve led enterprise payroll remediation engagements end-to-end
- You’ve engaged directly with the ATO and/or Fair Work
- You can interrogate millions of rows of payroll data with confidence
- You build models — not just review them
- You influence C-suite stakeholders with clarity and authority
- You develop and elevate high-performing analytics teams
This is a hands-on leadership. You must bring advanced capability in:
- SQL (complex joins, reconciliation logic, data interrogation)
- Alteryx (workflow automation and transformation logic)
- R or equivalent analytical programming
- RPA exposure
- Tableau or Power BI
- AI-enabled analytics (Copilot, generative AI tools)
- 9+ years in payroll analytics or remediation is expected.
- A professional services or consulting background is highly regarded.
