The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly analytical Reporting Analyst to join a data-driven team based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. This role plays a key part in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making across multiple functions.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand reporting needs, deliver high-quality dashboards, and provide clear, actionable insights that drive performance and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, extract, report, and interpret data from multiple organisational systems
- Collaborate with business teams and management to understand reporting requirements and deliver clear, digestible insights
- Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using tools such as Power BI
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key business insights
- Support stakeholders with ad hoc and recurring data analysis and reporting requests
- Maintain detailed documentation of reporting logic, SQL queries, and dashboard versions to ensure consistency and continuity
- Contribute to broader data transformation and reporting improvement initiatives
- Perform other reasonable duties as required
About You
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years' experience in a Reporting Analyst or similar data-focused role
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and querying
- Advanced skills in Excel and experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to work
- Strong communication skills, able to translate data into clear business insights
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Confident working with stakeholders across different levels of the business
