Job Title:  Data Reporting Analyst
Location: Eastern Suburbs, Sydney
Salary:$130K - $150k + Super
Start Date: Immediate

The Opportunity
 
We are seeking a highly analytical Reporting Analyst to join a data-driven team based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. This role plays a key part in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making across multiple functions.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand reporting needs, deliver high-quality dashboards, and provide clear, actionable insights that drive performance and strategy.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, extract, report, and interpret data from multiple organisational systems
  • Collaborate with business teams and management to understand reporting requirements and deliver clear, digestible insights
  • Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using tools such as Power BI
  • Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key business insights
  • Support stakeholders with ad hoc and recurring data analysis and reporting requests
  • Maintain detailed documentation of reporting logic, SQL queries, and dashboard versions to ensure consistency and continuity
  • Contribute to broader data transformation and reporting improvement initiatives
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required
 
About You
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years' experience in a Reporting Analyst or similar data-focused role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and querying
  • Advanced skills in Excel and experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to work
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate data into clear business insights
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Confident working with stakeholders across different levels of the business
