Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver federated analytics solutions across multi-cloud and hybrid environments
- Build and optimise batch and streaming data pipelines
- Develop scalable analytics platforms and enable data-driven decision making
- Implement observability, monitoring, and performance optimisation frameworks
- Ensure compliance with data sovereignty and locality requirements
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD and infrastructure automation
- Deliver custom dashboards and visualisations for distributed environments
- Support edge analytics use cases, including low-latency ETL and ML inference
Federated Analytics & Querying
- Experience with AlloyDB, AlloyDB Omni, BigQuery Omni, Looker
- Anthos for multi-cloud data access
- Apache Iceberg, Trino
- Strong understanding of federated SQL and hybrid query optimisation
- Workflow orchestration using Airflow
- Transformations using dbt
- Streaming and batch processing with Flink, Spark, Presto
- Experience with Dataform, Dataproc, Pub/Sub
- Monitoring tools such as Cloud Monitoring, OpenTelemetry
- Prometheus / Grafana
- Anthos Config Management
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
- CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitOps)
- Experience working across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Strong background in data and analytics engineering
- Understanding of data sovereignty and locality constraints
- Experience building distributed data platforms
- Development of custom dashboards(site-specific and global views)
- Experience with edge analytics, including low-latency ETL and on-device ML inference
