About the Role
As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will:
- Provide operational cyber security advice to internal clients and ICT stakeholders
- Support the delivery of cyber operations including monitoring, detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Coordinate with third-party managed security service providers
- Lead response and investigation efforts during security incidents
- Administer and support vulnerability assessments of ICT systems
- Manage remediation actions following incidents and assessments
- Coordinate third-party security assessments and liaise with internal teams
- Monitor emerging threats and escalate risks where appropriate
- Administer security controls and report significant risks to management
- Strong experience in cyber security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Proven ability to coordinate technical activities across teams and external vendors
- A working knowledge of enterprise security tools and best practices
- A proactive and analytical mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience in large, complex ICT environments (university or public sector experience is highly regarded)
