About the opportunity
Cyber risk is as much a people challenge as a technology one, and this role sits right at that intersection. You'll join the cyber security function of one of Australia's largest ASX-listed consumer businesses, helping shape a security culture across a large and complex enterprise. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where your campaigns, training and relationships directly change how thousands of people think about and respond to cyber risk.
The role
- Design and deliver engaging security awareness, communication and training programs that educate, influence and engage team members across the business
- Plan and run a year-round campaign calendar, including targeted phishing simulations, and measure and report on results
- Partner with developers and technical teams to promote secure coding practices and embed security into the development lifecycle
- Work with senior leaders, IT, digital and communications teams to shape security policies, standards and key messaging
- Build and grow a network of Security Awareness champions across the organisation
- 3+ years of experience in organisational learning and change management, with a track record of creating training and engagement programs for diverse audiences
- 3+ years of experience in IT or cyber security roles, with a solid grasp of core security concepts, application security, cloud and web architectures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, able to translate security concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong stakeholder skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate and influence at all levels
- Project management experience, comfortable planning and running a complex, ongoing program and reporting on metrics
Culture
- Reports into the head of Cyber Business partnering and engagement, working closely with the wider cyber security team
- A collaborative environment, with day-to-day partnership across security, IT, digital and development teams, and communications
- Values-led: the team cares about its people, listens and learns, and puts integrity first
- The chance to run a genuinely enterprise-wide awareness program, not just a tick-box exercise
- A career pathway into wider cyber security or organisational change roles
If you're passionate about changing behaviour and building a strong security culture, we'd love to hear from you.
