I am partnering with a large, complex enterprise environment seeking a Cyber Security Architect to play a key role in shaping and strengthening their security posture.
This is a strategic and hands-on role, responsible for designing and governing secure architectures across cloud, network, and platform environments, while aligning to industry-leading frameworks and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security architecture
- Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and security reviews across systems
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess associated risks and business value
- Contribute to security strategy, policies, and standards development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uplift security capability across the organisation
- 5+ years' experience in Cyber Security, with strong architecture exposure
- Background in State Gov or complex ICT environments
- Strong knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, ACSC ISM
- Experience across cloud, networks, applications, and infrastructure security
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, SABSA, TOGAF(or similar) highly regarded
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proactive, self-driven, and solutions-focused
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working across multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Collaborative team player with a high attention to detail
