$800 - $1000 per day (depending on experience)
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise across both Azure and AWS to join our dynamic team on a 12-month contract. This role will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud solutions that enable scalability, security, and performance for our business operations.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS
- Implement best practices around security, monitoring, and cost optimisation
- Support and troubleshoot cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines
- Assist in cloud migration projects and application readiness assessments
About you
- Proven experience working with Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Strong background in cloud architecture, security, and automation
- Proficient with scripting and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
- Solid understanding of networking, identity management, and compliance in cloud environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be based in Sydney (no relocation or sponsorship)
