Type: Permanent (On-site, 5 days per week)

About the Role

I am seeking a hands-on Systems & Network Engineer  with experience working in an MSP, who can balance technical expertise with strong client engagement skills. This is a client-facing role where you'll be the trusted technical advisor, delivering solutions across servers, networks, firewalls, and security systems, while also ensuring a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact and trusted advisor for client IT needs.
  • Design, configure, and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, and security systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across hybrid, cloud, and on-premise environments.
  • Conduct on-site client visits for support, maintenance, and project delivery.
  • Deliver high-quality support in line with SLAs, escalating and resolving issues quickly.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions.
  • Document technical work, site visits, and client interactions clearly.
  • Contribute to infrastructure and network projects, from requirements gathering to delivery.
  • Provide training and best-practice guidance to clients and colleagues.
  • Participate in after-hours/emergency support when required.
Key Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in systems and network engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, servers, firewalls, and IT security.
  • Experience with cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
  • Proficiency with ITSM/helpdesk tools(e.g., Datto Autotask).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, customer-first mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience delivering on-site technical services and managing multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
