The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our growth within the lighting industry. Your expertise in the specification process will help secure our products in major projects, while building strong relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, and electrical engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Partner with architects, designers, and engineers to promote innovative lighting solutions.
  • Specification Sales: Drive product specifications across commercial, residential, and public projects.
  • Expand Markets: Identify opportunities and develop strategic partnerships across sectors like hospitality, commercial, and residential.
  • Collaborate Internally: Work with technical and project teams to deliver tailored lighting solutions.
  • Provide Expertise: Offer technical advice on product specifications and design integration.
  • Achieve Results: Meet sales targets and provide regular market activity updates.
About You
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within lighting, architecture, design, or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of the specification process and experience working with architects, designers, or specifiers.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Relevant qualifications in architecture, engineering, or business (advantageous).
