The Opportunity
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving new business growth across Sydney through a proactive end-user sales strategy. This is a highly autonomous role suited to a confident and energetic BDM who enjoys being in front of clients and influencing decision-makers.
Unlike traditional specification-focused roles, this position is heavily focused on direct engagement with end users, uncovering opportunities, and creating demand from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across Sydney
- Build strong relationships directly with end users and key stakeholders
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Develop strategic territory and account plans
- Drive pipeline activity through networking, meetings, and market engagement
- Collaborate internally with marketing, operations, and leadership teams
- Maintain strong market intelligence and competitor awareness
- Proven success in a Business Development Manager or sales role
- Strong experience selling directly to end users
- A genuine hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business
- Highly motivated, proactive, and commercially driven
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a high-performing team
- Experience within commercial interiors, construction, manufacturing, workplace solutions, building products, or related industries will be highly regarded
