The engagement
This is an artefact-heavy, design-focused role. You'll be contributing to POC work, shaping the operating model around the test automation capability, mapping interfaces, and defining how sensitive data is handled, stored, and shared securely across tools and environments. Test data management is called out as a significant piece of work in its own right.
You'll be working closely with software and test engineers in a multi-vendor environment, with a clear boundary around a related vendor-managed activity - you'll need to work around that without duplicating or stepping on it.
What you'll be working with
- Test data management across secure environments
- Interface mapping and design (with a focus on sensitive data capture and storage)
- POC and target state architecture contribution
- Operating model design for test automation capability
- Playwright, Karate, GitHub (exposure desirable, not mandatory)
- A generalist Technical BA - this is not a test analyst role and a pure testing background will not be considered
- Strong on sensitive and secure data handling
- Proven artefact production in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Comfortable working across software engineers, test engineers, and vendors
- Enough testing literacy to be credible in the space without being a tester
- Exposure to test automation tooling (Playwright, Karate, GitHub)
- Experience in large-scale system replacement or transformation programs
- Familiarity with multi-vendor delivery environments
