About the Role:
Our client is at the early stages of a major transformation program – replacing their current telephony systems and rethinking how they manage and use data across their platforms. With limited existing data sources and systems, they're looking for an Analyst who can help make sense of what they currently have, define what they need, and lay the foundations for a strong and reliable data driven future.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing data sources and systems.
- Perform a gap analysis: "what data do we have, what’s missing, and why?"
- Define current-state data points and how they map to future requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand what the data should look like in the future
- Support the design of an end-state data solution by providing foundational insights
- Document data flows, transfer points, and call handling metrics
- Work closely with the BA team to ensure insights align with the broader business
- Engage with systems that may be incomplete or inconsistently used and still extract useful insight
- Proven experience as a data-driven Business Analyst working in environments with incomplete or legacy data
- Ability to work with ambiguity and build clarity around undefined or unstructured data
- Strong data analysis and data mapping skills, with a focus on business relevance
- Strong communication skills – able to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience with transformation programs is a plus - contact centre or telephony experience would be very nice to have
