Business Analyst - Azure Landing Zone

Our client is undertaking a major Azure platform initiative and is looking for a highly capable Technical Business Analyst with genuine experience delivering inside complex cloud governance environments — not just adjacent to them.

The engagement

A delivery partner is implementing a greenfield, consumption-ready Azure Landing Zone aligned to Microsoft CAF/WAF standards. You'll be embedded across the program — supporting implementation, operationalising the environment, and transitioning ownership to internal cloud operations teams across four phases: Initiation, Design, Deployment, and Operationalisation.

The strongest emphasis will be on operational readiness, governance alignment, and managing complex stakeholder dependencies across technical teams.

What you'll be working with

• Azure Management Groups, subscription hierarchies, RBAC and Azure Policy
• Network topology, hybrid connectivity and security assurance
• Microsoft CAF/WAF-aligned delivery frameworks
• CI/CD pipeline validation

What we're looking for

• Proven delivery experience within complex Azure infrastructure programs
• Strong Azure-specific experience (AWS-only backgrounds will not be considered)
• Ability to elicit requirements, maintain traceability, and facilitate workshops across cloud, infrastructure, network, security, and delivery teams
• Experience acting as the translation layer between internal stakeholders and external delivery partners

Highly regarded

• Azure Landing Zone or platform foundation delivery experience
• Exposure to Microsoft CAF/WAF-aligned environments
• Experience supporting governance approvals and security assurance activities
