Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Overview:
Our client is excited to offer a newly created opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join their IT team. In this role, you will focus on enhancing the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating software deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the optimal performance and security of systems.
Salary: $140k - 160k plus super
Location: Melbourne CBD, Hybrid (2 days Work from Home)
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.
- Automate software deployment processes to streamline delivery.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure is efficient, secure, and well-maintained.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively to maintain smooth operations.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git
- Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and deployment strategies
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog preferred)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation
- Must have minimum 2 years hand on Azure Cloud experience
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
