AWS DevOps Engineer - $820 per day
12-Month Contracts - Sydney or Canberra – Hybrid
Baseline Clearance Required
We are looking to fill two contract positions supporting a large-scale government platform program. Both roles are hands-on, working as part of a cross-functional team to build, manage, and uplift AWS environments in accordance with government requirements.
Role 1 — AWS Cloud Engineer $900 per day (super included / + GST)
Critical Skills
- Expert EKS/Kubernetes — cluster build, multi-tenant design, RBAC, networking, storage
- AWS cloud engineering — IAM, KMS, EFS/EBS, EC2 worker nodes, VPC design
- Infrastructure as Code — Terraform / CDK, container lifecycle management
- Kubernetes security — isolation, secrets management, scanning, hardened workloads
- Observability — logging, metrics, autoscaling, SRE patterns
Critical Skills
- CI/CD pipeline build and management using Azure DevOps
- Git repository management
- Infrastructure as Code — Terraform / AWS CDK / CloudFormation
- AWS core services and day-to-day operations support
- Ansible for server configuration and automation
- Container build and management — Docker / Podman
- ECS & Fargate workload deployment and management
