Location – Sydney, NSW
Contract Rate - $500 per day – Inc super
Work flexibility – 3 days on site, 2 days WFH
We’re seeking a Cloud support engineer to provide hands-on support for AWS and associated database environments for a well-known consultancy.
This will initially be for 12 months with a view to extending or going permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor AWS servers for health, performance and security threats
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve technical issues within agreed SLA’s
- Provide support for databases (SQL, RDS, Oracle, MySQL)
- Monitor database performance, availability, and backups.
- Perform routine database maintenance: patching, upgrades, user management, and access provisioning
Technical requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and database support (AWS, Azure, SQL Server, RDS, Oracle, MySQL)
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Fresh service, etc.).
- Strong technical understanding of Windows, Linux, Exchange/O365, Azure, Citrix, SAP, remote access management, and mobility support.
