I'm looking for two experienced Automation Test Engineers to join an Enterprise Platform CTP team, supporting core data assets and activation data delivery. In this hands-on role, you will drive automation feasibility studies, design automation approaches, and develop, maintain, and execute regression test suites, ensuring that all automation aligns with customer expectations.

You will work across web and API-based applications, with a strong focus on backend DBT automation, bringing quality and stability to a critical data platform.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute automated tests for web and API-based applications
  • Ensure automated tests are stable, reusable, and effective across different browsers and platforms
  • Perform automation feasibility studies and recommend appropriate automation approaches
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and status calls to provide progress updates
  • Participate in peer reviews of test cases, review meetings, and walkthroughs
  • Maintain bug reports and delivery note details
  • Configure and maintain test environments
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 2–5 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and varied domains
  • Framework architecture development and enhancement
  • Strong experience automating web application testing frameworks
  • Proficiency with test environment setup (Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, etc.)
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as Page Object Model, Data Driven, and Hybrid
  • Webservice automation using REST Assured or SOAP
  • Solid knowledge of locators and XPath
  • Parallel and cross-browser testing
  • Ability to resolve object identity issues and implement error handling
  • Defect management, change handling, and regression testing
  • Strong hands-on Guidewire experience — PolicyCenter (with Rating), ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and GW Portal Products
  • DBT (Data Build Tool) experience
DESIRED SKILLS
  • DBT (Data Build Tool) experience — highly desirable and will be prioritised
