You will work across web and API-based applications, with a strong focus on backend DBT automation, bringing quality and stability to a critical data platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute automated tests for web and API-based applications
- Ensure automated tests are stable, reusable, and effective across different browsers and platforms
- Perform automation feasibility studies and recommend appropriate automation approaches
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and status calls to provide progress updates
- Participate in peer reviews of test cases, review meetings, and walkthroughs
- Maintain bug reports and delivery note details
- Configure and maintain test environments
- 2–5 years of automation consulting experience across multiple platforms and varied domains
- Framework architecture development and enhancement
- Strong experience automating web application testing frameworks
- Proficiency with test environment setup (Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, etc.)
- Knowledge of frameworks such as Page Object Model, Data Driven, and Hybrid
- Webservice automation using REST Assured or SOAP
- Solid knowledge of locators and XPath
- Parallel and cross-browser testing
- Ability to resolve object identity issues and implement error handling
- Defect management, change handling, and regression testing
- Strong hands-on Guidewire experience — PolicyCenter (with Rating), ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and GW Portal Products
- DBT (Data Build Tool) experience
- DBT (Data Build Tool) experience — highly desirable and will be prioritised
- 6-month contract with strong potential for extension
- Work within a high-impact Enterprise Platform program
- Collaborative Agile team environment
You will join the DAPE (Data & Analytics Platform Engineering) portfolio, embedded in the EP-CTP program, working alongside a close-knit team on enterprise data platform initiatives. The team operates in an Agile environment, values collaboration, and is focused on delivering high-quality data outcomes across the organisation.
