This is a solution-led portfolio leadership role combining origination, solution shaping, commercial ownership, and executive delivery governance.
This role suits a builder-led consulting leader with real technical credibility who can front senior clients, create demand through differentiated propositions, and convert opportunities into recognised revenue within the financial year.

Responsibilities
Portfolio Growth and Commercial Ownership
- Own portfolio strategy and annual plan across Energy, Utilities, Resources and Critical Infrastructure.
- Lead origination: identify opportunities, build pursuit strategy, qualify, shape and close.
- Carry a revenue number and drive opportunities with sufficient runway to be recognised within the FY.
- Partner with industry vertical leaders who hold account relationships, while you lead with solution differentiation and executive credibility.
- Run executive discovery and problem framing with CIO/CTO/CISO/CDO and transformation leaders.
- Lead solution shaping across areas such as:
- Cloud and platform modernisation
- Cyber security and resilience (incl. regulated/critical infrastructure contexts)
- Data platforms, integration, analytics and AI enablement
- Enterprise architecture and operating model uplift
- Advanced engineering and modern delivery practices
- Present and defend the solution with confidence, including commercials, delivery approach, risk posture, and measurable outcomes.
- Provide senior oversight through mobilisation and delivery: steering committees, risk management, scope control, stakeholder alignment.
- Ensure delivery excellence and protect margin and reputation; course-correct early when risk emerges.
- Build high-performing multi-disciplinary teams across Australia and broader APAC as needed.
- Contribute to quarterly thought leadership (internal minimum; external where appropriate) aligned to SHORE priorities.
- Help develop repeatable propositions, accelerators, and differentiated approaches that strengthen win-rates and delivery outcomes.
- Champion the innovation/performance balance: experimentation where it creates value, reliability where it protects outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 15-20+ years in consulting / technology transformation / enterprise delivery with senior leadership accountability.
- Proven track record carrying a consulting number (pipeline + conversion), with evidence of revenue impact.
- Strong experience in SHORE environments: energy, utilities, resources, mining, critical infrastructure, or adjacent ecosystem providers.
- Technical credibility across at least two of: cloud, cyber, enterprise architecture, data engineering/integration, AI strategy/enablement, advanced engineering.
- Executive presence and ability to lead complex stakeholder environments with clarity and pace.
- Demonstrated ability to create and sell differentiated propositions (not commodity SI positioning).
- Experience operating in regulated environments (e.g., SOCI, safety-critical operations, OT/IT convergence, cyber resilience).
- Examples of thought leadership: white papers, publications, conference speaking, internal practice-building, IP/accelerators.
- You are a pure relationship seller without technical depth.
- You are a delivery-only leader without commercial ownership.
- You prefer PMO-style control without immersion in content and problem-solving.
