Phil is one of the co-founders of PRA, having launched the company in 2004 with Matt Gordon. Their vision led PRA to become the recruitment agency of choice for many of Australia's leading organisations. Phil’s career began in 1996 in London, just as Windows ‘96 was revolutionising the tech world. He started in the contract development market, which has remained a passion throughout his career.

 

In 1998, Phil moved to Sydney and worked for several leading agencies in the Australian market, where he realized there was a better way to do things. This insight led him to team up with Matt, and together they proved that a fresh approach could deliver outstanding results.

 

Phil remains deeply customer-focused, working closely with the PRA team to maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. His role often takes him around the country, meeting customers and suppliers ensuring PRA’s ongoing success.

 

Outside of work, Phil spends his weekends coaching kids' rugby in winter and attempting to decode the complexities of kids' cricket in summer. Having grown up surfing in Wales, Phil is always keen to get in the water when he’s in Sydney, and whenever he gets the chance, he enjoys hitting the slopes to ski.
